Live Video Streaming for Church – Vandalia Christian Tabernacle

We have done a previous install of equipment and processes for a Germantown, OH church, Abundant Life Tabernacle, to conduct a live video stream of their services through UStream.  The production has been great and their church members enjoy the online service if they’re traveling, home sick, or in bad weather.  This was our first deployment of such technology back in 2009-2010.  The setup has worked well with their volunteers and continues to stream services on Sunday at www.WatchALTLive.com

Now we are working on a new setup for Vandalia Christian Tabernacle.  Their pastor, Todd Hoskins, has outlaid a goal to stream their service live as an outreach through their newly designed website, http://www.vctchurch.com/.  ADH is working on a strategy and process plan for several hardware configurations and appliances to accommodate their current HD video infrastructure so they can get the stream up and running within a month, not have a large expense, and be easy to use for their volunteers.  This is one of our current projects and we will post back more details as our progress moves forward.

One of the websites that ADH consistently updates and maintains is the Centerville Coeds Dance Team.  This dance team stays busy by winning championships and performing a full itinerary.  ADH designed the website and continually updates it with new info and photos.

Product Shoot for Killer RC

We spent this snowy/icy weekend over at Killer RC shooting photos of their entire product line.  Killer RC has grown exponentially since it’s creation in August 2008.  They have brought innovative products to market very quickly and distribute to ever country around the world.  Due to their rapid growth, no standard of product images have been set.  We are re-shooting every single product they have and are editing them to look clean and sharp for a new website design that we’re currently working on.

Gene Huff’s Life Video

Gene Huff’s Life Video

A local religious organization named Pentecostal Ministerial Association of America (PMAA) recognized an amazing man tonight at their annual banquet.  Rev. Gene Huff (my great-uncle) went to be with Jesus in the month of December 2011.  I was at his funeral in London, KY and all I can say is what an amazing man he was.  Many news articles and obituaries capture his affect on the religious and political realm, here is one of them.

ADH was tasked a week ago to take a video that was designed for his 80th birthday back in 2009 and form it into something to use at this banquet where his family would be recognized.  We altered the ending audio narration of his wife, Aunt Ethel, and also changed out some of the photos.  We presented this 15 minute video tonight and along with tears of hapiness and gratitude to the family, the crowd had a standing ovation for his life achievements.  We at ADH produce so many videos a month that sometimes we forget how much they can speak to someone’s heart.  Tonight was refreshing as we saw this video capture the crowd.  We provided copies of the video on multiple DVD’s so that Gene’s future heritage and generations may remember his legacy and family history.

Ongoing Work

We’ve been tackling one of the largest long-term projects for our biggest customer, Killer R/C.  We designed the Killer R/C website about 3 years ago and since then the company has evolved and grown exponentially.  We are now revamping the website and basing off a store engine.  This is requiring us to entirely redesign from the ground up and debut a new store interface, product photos, etc etc… The company itself is also growing during this process as the website will allow their employees to login and track orders, shipping, inventory, etc etc… So not only is this a website change – this is a company change!  Go check out KillerRC.com now to see the current design.  We hope that within a month we will debut the new design and company structure and processes.

Also, we have a new customer – BLADE Fitness & Nutrition (John Tatman).  John came to us with hopes of a new website.  We’re still in negotiations and working with their current IT expert to tie their dietary tools into the backend of the server.  However, we designed a little something for them over the last week.  They used an excel sheet to help their customers track their diet and many nutritional values thereof.  John expressed to us over the holidays that he wanted something a little more robust and dependable.  Needless to say, we have provided him a revamped design that functions much better, calculates automatically, has greater capability, and is easier on the eyes.  Another satisfied customer!  We look forward to securing their web business in the coming weeks.

Evolving Site

We’ve been working on projects so much, and getting caught up in the holidays, that we haven’t made time to finish our own site.  Sheesh!  We’ve been working on it this week though and getting a gallery and portfolio designed to show off some of our work.  Keep visiting and see things change as we evolve our web strategy.

Busy Times

So the turkey is all devoured, the shopping is coming to an end, and it’s back to work.  We’re still working on this website to get all the info up and show many many many of our projects and past work.  We’re putting many of our video projects up on Vimeo so we don’t have copyright issues with some of the music.  Take a look at our progress here.

We’re also working on a new website for Brian Gallagher over at PrioSports.com  It’s still under construction so don’t judge it too fast!

Lastly, we’re doing a new video project for KillerRC.com and their new BumbleBee product.

Not enough hours in the day… errr… nor in the night…
